JIMI HENDRIX : 

Johnny Allen Hendricks or Jimi Hendrix was born in King Country Hospital, Seattle, Washington at 27th Nov 1942. He is son from couple Alex Hendrix (Afro American) and Lucille (Indian Cherokee). . He had a difficult childhood, sometimes living in the care of relatives and even acquaintances at times. His mother, Lucille, was only 17 years old when Hendrix was born. She had a stormy relationship with his father.and eventually left the family after the couple had two more children together, sons Leon and Joseph.

Born in Seattle, Washington, Hendrix began playing guitar at the age of 15. In 1961, he enlisted in the US Army and trained as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division; he was granted an honorable discharge the following year. Soon afterward, he moved to Clarksville, Tennessee, and began playing gigs on the Chitlin' Circuit, earning a place in the Isley Brothers' backing band and later with Little Richard, with whom he continued to work through mid-1965. He then played with Curtis Knight and the Squires before moving to England in late 1966 after being discovered by Linda Keith, who in turn interested bassist Chas Chandler of the Animals in becoming his first manager. Within months, Hendrix had earned three UK top ten hits with the Jimi Hendrix Experience: "Hey Joe", "Purple Haze", and "The Wind Cries Mary". He achieved fame in the US after his performance at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, and in 1968 his third and final studio album, Electric Ladyland, reached number one in the US; it was Hendrix's most commercially successful release and his first and only number one album. The world's highest-paid performer, he headlined the Woodstock Festival in 1969 and the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970 before his accidental death from barbiturate-related asphyxia on September 18, 1970, at the age of 27.

Hendrix was inspired musically by American rock and roll and electric blues. He favored overdriven amplifiers with high volume and gain, and was instrumental in utilizing the previously undesirable sounds caused by guitar amplifier feedback. He helped to popularize the use of a wah-wah pedal in mainstream rock, and was the first artist to use stereophonic phasing effects in music recordings. Holly George-Warren of Rolling Stone commented: "Hendrix pioneered the use of the instrument as an electronic sound source. Players before him had experimented with feedback and distortion, but Hendrix turned those effects and others into a controlled, fluid vocabulary every bit as personal as the blues with which he began.

My Unforgettable Memory

My Unforgettable Memory : First time Umroh

        When I was 6th grade or 11 years old me and my famill for the first time umroh in Mecca. it was on June after my birthday me and my familly go to Mecca. Me and my familly go by Emirates Airways.

it was so fun on that plane because we can watch film as much as we wanrt. it takes 8 hour to go to Medina.First time when I arrived at Medina Airport I was confused because the airport is very quite and small not like Surabaya. First time I think Arab was so hot but when I was arrived it was soo cold because maybe I came at June.

       

       At Medina we stayyed at Balad Hotel. The hotel is only 10 meters to Nabawi Mosque is the most important mosque in Medina and the second biggest mosque in the world. This mosque first time was built by Rasulullah SAW and also at there cemetery of Rasullah SAW. At first I think the mosque was so hot because there is no roofn at there, but when I entered the mosque it was soo cold. The floor was made from marble so it makes the mosque soo cold. I very enjoyed my time at Nabawai mosque, I spen my time to pray, read qur'an, or just sleep at there. Nabawi Mosque has a characteristic that have a big umbrella the yard. The umbrella open when the sun above us so the umbrella protect us.

      After 4 days in Medina we was went to Makkah by bus. We take miqat at Bir Ali at there we take wudhu and pray before we Umroh. I also wear ihram for the first time.  We arrived at Mekkah at night at 1 am. we directly went to Masjidil Haram Mosque. Masjidil Haram is the biggest mosque in the world and become the centre of Islam. at there also theris a Ka'bah its a qibla for all muslim to pray. Slowly we entered the mosque because the Ka'bah is at the centre of the mosque. Finally my first time I saw Ka'bah me and my family was cried for the first time saw Ka'bah.

       For the first time I tawaf at Ka/bah or tawaf place. it was very crowded at there. After do Tawaf we went to Sa'i. Sa'i is one of the pillar umroh from Mount Shafa to Mount Marwah 7 times. at masjidil Haram we can also drink zam zam from the origin place wkwkwk it was soo fresh. After we Sai we was Tahallul. Tahallul is cutting some of our hair. That was very unforgettable memory for my self:)))



        

Dubai : The Luxurious City

       Dubai as known as the beautiful City. Dubai also known as "The Future Country". But before 90's Dubai just a desert. Why Dubai can make his city so beautiful??.... . By the 1960s, Dubai's economy was based on revenues from trade and, to a smaller extent, oil exploration concessions, but oil was not discovered until 1966. Oil revenue first started to flow in 1969. "Oil makes Dubai so rich" that's what people said.

       Dubai also has the tallest building on earth is called Burj Khalifa. It height 828 m and contains a hotel, a mall, and a restaurant. It start construct at 2004 and ended at 2009 and cost 1.5 billion $ . The design of Burj Khalifa is derived from patterning systems embodied in Islamic architecture, incorporating cultural and historical elements particular to the region, such as in the Great Mosque of Samarra.The building was named in honour of the ruler of Abu Dhabi and president of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

       That's why i loved Dubai so much. Beside they building Dubai also have a beautiful call Palm Jumeirah,at there its construct an artificial island that form like a palm tree.

MEGANTARA

       a concert... not a concert actually is more lika an event about Indonesian art,Indonesian literature, Indonesian culture.its SMAN 3 Bandung special event because event like this held every year. the word megantara is from Sansakerta language that  "Mega" and "gantan" or Megantara is Nusantara is great light

       the event started at 7 o`clock when all of 10th grade do a parade using Pangsi around the SMAN 3 Bandung but each class must have 3 contestant to wear a traditional dress to a contest. In Megantara also there are many performances like from Band3, OSD ITB, and etc.in this event there is a performance from SMAN 3 Bandung like T'ST, Kelompok Vokal 3,and etc but we also have a special guest star such as THE CHANGCUTERS and RAN they play many songs. When the changcuters sang his song it was very crowded and all sang together it was so exciting

WORLD TOURNAMENT-TECHNO FESTIVAL

       Helloowww guyss... its me Rafli and i gonna tell you about an event at my school SMAN 3 Bandung. and yupp the name of the event is World Tournament Tehno Festival where we as 10th grade students played lots of games against the 11th grade students and during the games we have to speak with english..!!!!

       its held on 20th August 2016 at the morning we gathered at Bali Field with our dresscode class and then the comitee explain how the games go on. So...  the rule like this we have to followed all games in WTTF 10th grade against 11th grade and the winner we get a piece of puzzle, class who collect more puzzle will be the winner. YEEEEE!!!:(

        There is some funny momment while we playing games like when 10th grade against 11th grade in abattle game TEKKEN in a pc we were so enthusiastic and so focus when our classmates play the game and finally our class s the winneerr YEEE:))

Hello guys let me introduce my self....

      My name is Muhammad Rafli Hanan Mahendra, my friends usually call me Rafli . I was born in Semarang, 18 June 2001. Now I study in SMAN 3 Bandung before in senior high school I study in SMP Al Hikmah Surabaya. First time when entering SMAN 3 Bandung its little bit nerveous because I don't have any friends in there because the language in Bandung and Surabaya is different so i have to adapted with my new school, but now i have many friends in school.

       I interested at music and sport, usually i liked to listen jazz music and blues music. My favourite singer is John Mayer because he plays guitar so good with feelings. I have favourite singer in Indonesia like Tulus and HiVi. I can play guitar too I started palying guitar when i was in 8 grade in junior high school in Surabaya. My favourite sports is Soccer, badminton, and golf. My favourite lesson are Math and Physic.

       I have a dream.... after I finished my senior high school in SMAN 3 Bandung I hope I can study in best university like ITB,UI,etc and maybe i can continue my school in other countries... I hope:))
